We need more really lightweight short barrel rifles !
Maybe a 12. Inches short barrel scout rifle about 4 1/2 pounds now that would be cool.
This is the kind of holster I would like.

you may be in luck if spacesaver figures that one out, but we will see what he comes up with!

okanagan hiker:

spacesaver has been working out various details for these rigs!!I have been asked about that style of holster and, if there are people who want that rather than a pouch-type, I will do my best to make one. Tues. night at the latest I'll start on another belt design and, hopefully, later in the week I'll have an 1892 carbine to make patterns from.
At this point my thought are to offer, on all belts, double layer, suede lined and oil finished. Standard buckle would be antiqued brass, others available on request. Holster was going to be a pouch type, perhaps I'll offer that and a "McQueen" type. Due to the large variation in peoples builds, the holsters will slide onto the belt, not be an itegral part of it. Bullet loops would be stitched, either 12 or 24. Any other suggestions?
Cheers,
spacesaver

ok hiker,
When I get the carbine and am able to make some patterns I'll be in a better position to price these out. While there is definitely more leather involved in the one design, there is more "handi-work" involved in the McQueen. By weeks end I should be able to price everything, and may have some other things as options!!

Does anyone have a photo showing the top of the action? Is there a little safety thingamabob just in front of the hammer or am I confusing this with another levergun styled thingamabob? Some manufacturers have a little button thingymajiggy there. Can ya'll tell I don't know squat about leverguns?
