True enough, I suppose the longest shot inside my house is 15y, at least one barrel should hit. At least if I took your lead, and added a second bead, for the "off-side" barrel, If I had kept it, I certainly would have done so.

Why is every time Harper opens his mouth, I feel less right wing?
I trust mine with a bear I don't necessarily trust the shooter thoughI keep mine loaded in the bush, 1 barrel has shot the other a slug.

The Outlaw is a cool design, however I have seen Khyber Pass copies with better quality control. Brittle wood, flimsy springs, next time I will save my $$$ for a Stoeger Coach or chop a SxS of slightly higher quality.
Can we get Stoegers with 12 inch barrels? That would be too awesome
You can't chop one down to 12.5 inches. For that you need factory made. The Outlaw is a cool design, however I have seen Khyber Pass copies with better quality control. Brittle wood, flimsy springs, next time I will save my $$$ for a Stoeger Coach or chop a SxS of slightly higher quality.

Stoegers are great little guns, but i do love the whole exposed hammer thing. Means you can have it loaded while hiking without relying on a safety. If you want a short hunting gun go get a stoeger coach or the like and be happy, but for the purposes a 12 inch gun would be of any use for, having the hammers is kind of nice. Can we get Stoegers with 12 inch barrels? I would not walk around the bush with a loaded gun with exposed hammers. Unless you have a strap to keep the hammers down. One wierd snag and the hammer may strike jus hard enough to set it off.

They still have proper modern safeties. They won't go off just from a 'snag' unless the snag happens to pull the hammers back and then simultaneously pull the trigger at the right momentOne wierd snag and the hammer may strike jus hard enough to set it off. That'd be quite a snag.
