Thanks Mark, I had no idea that they were in such high demand. I already have my order in for one so I guess I will just have to wait and see when they come in. Thanks for the quick reply, you guys have always been superb to work with.

If you want one the best suggestion I can give you is to place your Custom Order now... that way you are in the queue. If you wait until they are here and in stock you could be waiting for a while.

Right now all of the TacOps models (1911 and 226) are in high demand across North America and SIG is struggling to keep up with demand... they're not "in stock" at SIG either.

This is the best answer I can give you... sorry.

Hi Mark like wise with it always being a pleasure dealing with you and Scott, the wife hates you guys for always bringing something I have to have. I've got just one question for you: "NOT IN STOCK" AT SIG, so what does that mean for us who have ordered, I've got one of each tac ops coming, will it be the regular 6-12 weeks wait or longer?

In most cases we have been able to keep the delivery time on orders within the estimates given... in fact often we delivery sooner than expected.

SIG has been pretty good at keeping product flowing and in keeping us updated on delivery estimates. The status these days is much better than a year or so ago when many models were 3 to 6 month wait times and in some cases even longer.

Lately they are able to ship some models from stock and others are much shorter wait times than last year.

Mark, I just went to place an order. I can't see the difference between these two..

    SIG-226R-9-XTM-BLKGRY
    SIG-E26R-9-XTM-BLKGRY

Is there one? Is the second considered a P226? Everthing looks identical?

The difference is the way SIG denotes "10 Round Magazines" and "High Cap Magazines". Guns shown as 226 are 10 round magazines while guns shown as E26 are the regular higher capacity magazines.

This same method is also used in their 229 and E29 series guns.

Crap, my PAL is going to be here any day, was hoping that P226 was still going to be around. Any idea if you'll be getting more in?
