I actually prefer this version as it is even more practical. You get the bonus corrosion resistance of stainless. Also, the flash hider was useless anyhow so by omitting it and giving it a longer barrel you still maintain the same over all length but with an extra two inches of sight radius (not to mention a little more muzzle velocity). This this is solid win.

This is totally true, if you really wanted the flashhider we can install a Vortex, If you really want it black stainless we can do that as well. But as is these will be great hunting rifle's/carbines. I really like how you can remove the rear sight and install a standard eye relief scope as well. When these come in I might use one as my new tree stand gun this fall.

The lack of a flash hider is not a Canadian issue......the US prohibits export of firearms with flash hiders....
Arma Coat quoted me about $250 for the black finish....cheaper if I bought from them.....I got mine from P & D..$875 plus taxes and shipping...
Comes with 3 1/2" spacers.......and a 10 round mag....
Initial groups ran around 2-3" @ 100 yds with the supplied peep sight and ball ammo...
I have removed the picatinny rail as I have no desire for a EER scope, and will mount a Redfield 2x X 7x scope using the supplied rings and the integral bases.....
Action cycles fine......trigger a bit heavy with a little creep but all in all I am satisfied with the gun...
