I'm putting off getting a Glock waiting for the Ruger SR1911, does this make Murdoc a Glockblocker?

Not until he delivers. Seeing how long the first batch is taking im having second thoughts about being on the second batch. I could buy another 1911, but im good to wait a few months into the new year. See what happens.

I am in batch #2 as well...I have no reason to worry...yet!!! lol. He promised that we will have them before Christmas so there is still some time.

Second batchers won't have the SR in their hands by XMas unless jolly old saint Nick personally delivers it on red nose express.

Don't mean to sound negative but I highly doubt the second batch will be showing up before the new year and quite some time after. Ruger just cannot keep up with the supply demand right now for whatever reason. They are scarce in the U.S. I just don't see any Canadian firearms dealer getting another shippment that close together. I could be wrong but I'm sure they would like to catch up on the supply demand in the U.S. as much as possible rather than shipping across the border. Congrats to those of you on the 1st batch.
