That's where my SR1911 funding is heading, a nice model 29; haven't shoot a revolver in more than a couple of decades.

Can't really compare a G17/9mm to a 45ACP. After the 45 can barely feel the 9mm recoil. 9mm is so much easier to shoot. Being waiting for the G21 for as long as the SR1911 and S&W anny.

Is that 20 years of experience or 3 years of experience repeated 6.66 times?

Im not a huge fan of 9mm, I always preferred the bigger calibers. What barrel length of 29 are you looking for.

Once my G22 and G21 joins my G17 will decide then what caliber to keep. With reloading not much diff in price.

Prob. get the 6" 29. Haven't research it yet, not sure the adv. of 6 vs. 4.2

Nice gun but what a price. If I bought one it had better cook and clean for me because I would be single as soon as the bill showed up.

I think he had a Ruger shipment go threw customs but it turned out to be the scout rifles and some revolvers. At least he was finally able to make some money off of his pre orders.
