Yes, the firearm was what I was referring to... wasn't sure how tight the slide is to the frame.

This seems to have become the defacto SR1911 thread so I just wanted to report that I had my first range visit and right out of the box, about 150 rounds through it, not a single hiccup and I can throw every round into the bullseye from 10-15 yards. Definite keeper!
