Rick, you are very publicly released from any liability if the now very famous gun blows up when it is test fired. You can either ship it to me directly, or if you prefer you can ship it to my local gunsmith for testing.
Chris
I can get my lawyer to draft up a formal release but do you really want to
incur ?? of a lawyers time at $550.00 per hour?
Short of a signed and sworn legal document NO gun leaves here without being test fired. To send us the bolt and absolve any issues would be the least expensive route to go. Your call but I would want the legal costs covered up front.

And just when I thought that this thread was about to die - send Rick the bolt.

The perfect cartridge is a rare thing. You could spend your entire life looking for one, and it would not be a wasted life.
This thread is better than my daily Coronation Street fix
When the post office strike is over maybe I could send all my guns which have been test fired only ( a now proprietary term which can mean anything I want it to mean ) to ATRS and ask for all new guns in return.

Can you only imagine the stuff we haven't seen? The phone calls, emails, and pm's must be priceless.
If this were me, I would send my bolt immediately, apologize to Rick publically and not ever try to sell anything on this forum or approach a gunsmith again for custom work.
Can someone explain why you would want a "brand new" gun cerakote'd? Also can someone explain how shooting 47 rounds, being cleaned and stored and having a gunsmith threading the barrel as "brand new".
As was said earlier, once a car is off the lot, its considered used and loses value. Can you buy a new car, have the engine upgraded or your sound system upgraded, then return to the auto dealer and claim it brand new and try to return it?

And the hits just keep on coming!
I could do nothing more; in solitude and abject misery in that dark hour,
in a country of savage heathen,
thousands of miles away from a Christian land,
I beseeched an aid above all human, trusting alone to Him.

I can't help myself. Every time I unsubscribe from this thread I end up returning to see the latest drama. You can't make this s**t up. I'm really surprised the thread is still open.
