Rick, you are a true gentleman and are doing your best here. My wife and I just spent an hour popcorning on our sofa togeather reading through this, and your actions have been extraordinary.

We both approve on the charging of storage fees and time. It's a pity you can't make the storage fees retroactive.

I might make a reccomendation for your business too. She is a professional artist by trade, and whilst that might seem to have nothing to do with gunsmithing, she charges a bullsh*t tax on people like Robertf.

In this case it would be fully justified.

Just wanted to throw a shout out and let you know that not everyone is a psycho and we recognize the work you're doing. When I need work on my weapons done, I know where to send them!

If i were RobertF i would sell all firearms, throw out my firearms licence, and take up knitting as a new hobby.

Perhaps but he may have to order his skeins of wool and have them mailed to him. His package might get dropped in a puddle and then WTF would he do with wet wool? Bet he'd get himself a whole new sweater out of the deal though.

The time has come to FINALLY put this to bed, I think.
A nice policeman came by the shop the other day with the requested bolt so I could finally test fire this barrelled action, under supervision, and get it out of here.

I am hoping that the packaging is CP proof enough to survive the trek back to ontario.
Inside the ABS tube the barrelled action is wrapped in paper, then sleeved in socks and then shredded paper was crammed in so that NOTHING can move. The ABS pipe is then put inside a cardboard shipping tube, then has had the whole thing taped up with a roll and 1/2 of fiber tape.

With luck this will be the final chapter in this ordeal.

It arrived here with the writing on it. Apparently Chris felt I needed to have instructions on how to open ABS pipe with a cap screwed on the end.

Just to be extra diligent, you may want to add some PVC cement to the threads.

    Just a thought.
