how much and how long did it take to set up this arrangement?

once new hole is created by the bullet infrared light comes thru, cameras pick it up and send it to the main block to do calculations, the screen is basically big scroll that scrolls down once too many holes were created, probably there more to it i guess
p.s. there are 2 shooters scenarios ^^

The one I used while in the British Army in the 1980s would stop the paper scroll and the film projector at the sound of the shot and we were shooting from darkness with the screen backlit, so you could then see the light shining through where you hit. Infrared is obviously an improvement (safer) since you can have light on the firing line and more than one shooter. Even back then with those limits it was a very good training device, and fun.

(We used .22rimfire inserts in the FAL.)

Not sure what time to install would mean to you. The range took 4 months. The actual installation of the BKE hardware took about 1 week.
