I am annoyed, but not overly surprised by this.

My wallet is quivering with anticipation over this rifle. Good thing I didn't see the thread earlier this year! Hopefully the feds will come through with a positive outcome soon.

Hopefully it gets classified NR! The more scary it looks when done, the better!

    Yes please!

I would also be VERY interested in a non-restricted .308 semi-auto that starts out LOOKING like a hunting rifle (to keep the feds happy), but that is compatible with AR-15 accessories and can be easily modified with stocks, fore-ends, pistol grips, rails, etc. so that it can end up like as an AR-15 style platform. Short barrel options would be great too.

I'm very hopeful for this. We really could use a "Modern Hunter" rifle to start to shift perspective away from "good gun = hundred year old design" and show that modern materials and techniques are not bad and scary.

Best of luck. I'll be very willing to selflessly donate my time and ammo testing this rifle.

Very interested to see how this turns out. A modern hunting rifle sounds like something that hunters, sport shooters and collectors could all get behind, especially if it's a Canadian build product from a Canadian company.

Just testing the waters for input, I have a plan...........
I would be all over that

Well now I have found a new thread to watch like a hawk. Probably like watching paint dry if now its waiting for classification though. I am super stoked to see it. (and shoot it of course).

While I understand not wanting to show the prototype, can we get a sneak peak of the rendered model?

My curiosity is really getting the better of me.
Do you take what you can get or do you get what you can take?

Sorry but the only prototype we made we sent to Ottawa over 6 months ago.
WE don't even have photos, just CNC programs.
