Does a simple screw make the kit legal? Or it have to be glue or something else?

I believe the screw is all that's needed, you could use a roll pin or something instead.

I didn't have a 10/22 until I received a tracking number for this kit, now I have a 10/22 sitting in my safe, weird......

Put around 700 rounds through it today, it's my favourite by far compared to the other 10/22 stocks I've had (rb precision evolution, nordic/sr22, archangel, nea, fabsports fs556, tapco, etc.).
It points and handles very nicely with the 12.5" barrel. The weight is just right, not too heavy, not too light.

The included magazine seems to be coming around, although it's still not nearly as reliable as the TI mags or even the butler creek mags.
Maybe it's my old '70's reciever that I'm using, but the mag doesn't lock in real positively with the faux magazine shell on. You have to fiddle with it a bit to make sure it's properly seated. The old "slap on the bottom of the mag" can seat it too deep.

Overall, I'm very pleased !
