    They take BD mags and you can swap the fiber upper reciever for a milspec aluminum one. I did and added a Larue 12" rail and sight to match my 5.56 upper and now I have twins to train with. The .22 upper has not skipped a beat. Some FTF's and FTE's for the first 20 rnds out of the box and the odd FTE when dirty (400+ rnds) but added some oil and ran a snake and back on line. This was one of the best investments I have made in a while. I just train as usual (with 28 rnd mags to boot) for about 300 rnds and then run the drills with 5.56. Only need to fire about 40 -60 rnds of 5.56 to finish and noticed the improvement!!
