You asked him why it was overpriced before; compared to the other models. He said he'd look into it and fix it if was an oversight. Seems like he agreed with you and fixed it. I would have worded it differently in confirming the price...

Double checking because I was trying to replace the rifle I ordered last week but was then sent an invoice $2974 less taxes/shipping. The same rifle was listed $2760 prior to my original order. Today it's listed $2685 so wth.

There was an error in our spreadsheet when we did the last Noveske pricing work up... after your initial question Scott took a look and reviewed everything, found the error and updated the website with correct pricing.

What's on the website now is correct... but keep in mind that prices and specifically are subject to change without notice. Manufacturers can change their pricing at any time and when costs change we adjust our pricing accordingly.
