Hello,

Sorry but the M&P 15-22 pistol has been discontinued by S&W.
Only a handful ever made it to Canada. We held back on ever importing these due to the fact we knew what would happen to the magazine capacity of the standard rifle models.
Now we have no pistol and 10 round mag limits on the rifles.
We're working with S&W and the RCMP to hopefully reverse the 10 round mag limit ruling as the pistols have never been commercially available.
Wish us luck.

good luck!! Using the regular 25 round mag is night and day on the fun factor for the m&p 1522. ps dont instal pins just superglue in blockers in your 25 rounders and and other ps legal 50round drum for the m&P will be hear on friday thank you Qstar ! 50 round drum review vids will be up on youtube shortly.
So if none have been commercially available for Canada, why are they keeping this law in effect? Does that mean that no citizen have them? If that is the case It should be pretty easy to reverse this decision no?
Thanks for your response..
This all situation regardin MP 15 22 is just pissed me of. I love those riffles produced by S&W and Colt in .22 BUT who the hell on this planet thinks these riffles should be restricted ??? Just because it looks scary and similar to M15 ? Total B.S. ! What about Sub 2000 or JR carbines in 9mm these dont look scary but hell yea non restricted . How much damage you can make with MP 15 22 and Sub 2000 ......I thought so! Thats why I will never buy one of those .22 I just dont feel like going to the range with .22 all the time I would rather take my sub 2000 in the bush and have more fun with it .......
Really who makes those rulles or that bill was scheduled for a pass on Monday morning ........?((
Shame about the M&P pistol being unavailable, really wanted to get one. The ones that made it through are obviously legal to own, correct?
Good luck on the mag reverse issue.
To "RedLine" "How much damage you can make with MP 15 22 and Sub 2000"
Any and all bullets are deadly, .22lr and 9mm may not pack as much punch as other calibre's, but that doesn't change their lethal potential.
I respect your justified annoyance at restricted classifications for guns based on nothing more than appearance, but saying that they're virtually harmless, that just not something to responsibly post on CGN.
Congrats on the Sub 2000, heard they're lots of fun. Have to get one.
I definitely see a S&P M&P 22 in my collection, even with the restriction, maybe next year, funds permitting, or a good deal on EE.
