Next time you are shooting, apply slight pressure on the mag in all directions (alternating obviously) and see if you get a failure.

The Ruger mags can have pressure applied and continue running; I suspect it is because there is no play. I've noticed that the Butler Creek mags have noticeable wiggle room, hence me being able to pull it out without using the mag release.

Anyway, use what works. For me, it's the Ruger mags.

I am looking forward to these GSG mags though whenever they appear. I suspect they will be a good fit with the amount of time it's taking to bring them to market

the TI25 magazines that wanstalls is selling metal or plastic ones are adjustable so you can take that play out of the magazine. I find that once they break in they work allot better.

Tried both the smoke and clear BC25, tight as a nun.

Even held the SR22+scope upside down by just the BC25, give it a good shake, no problem.

So the static test worked, will try at range but suspect it'll work as lots of folks have shoot my SR22 without issues.

If the BC25 don't work suspect the GSG will have similar fate.
Will get the GSG only if the loading is at least par with BC25. The BC speed loader is so fast, start spinning the knob, 25 rnds in no time.

    Caveat Emptor.
    Common Sense is NOT common.
Is that 20 years of experience or 3 years of experience repeated 6.66 times?

I bought a couple of the metal TI25's from Wanstalls after having problems with my Butler Creek mags.

The TI25's seems to work better with around 15 rounds in when new. I'm hoping this gets better once the magazine spring eases up.

We are unfortunately at the mercy of the manufacturer here. They have been working on fixing the issues they had discovered with the GSG-522 drum magazines as this will share the same body as the 10/22 magazine. They believe they are in the home stretch with this development and will be quick to build the 10/22 drum magazine once they have proved the design of the 522 drum works. We do apologize for the continual delays in the development of this drum but we are at the mercy of the developers and we do not want to rush anything to market which will not function properly. We had been told to expect the drum magazines last fall and we are still in a holding pattern. As always we will try and keep everyone updated as to the progress, all be it slow at times.

    Best regards,

Hopefully they won't mark it for use with the charger pistol or we are out of luck.
