Made a trip to the CORE shop!! Wow what a place. Met Izzy the VP and he gave me an impromptu tour of the shop. Got to see tons of aliminium blanks on the CNC machine. One machine was working on a 7.62 upper prototype. Bunch of Moonshiner receivers in trays. Checked out final assembly area and shipping/receiving. Amazing amount of high tech machinery and laser controlled QC measuring. Izzy said they are working towards 3000 rifles a month. We chatted for an hour and discussed various rifle systems. Picked up 3 T shirts and a hat. Cheap stuff, the hat was $5! Apparently Izzy spend some time in Edmonton during his military career. Knew quite about our government issues. Bought some Gator jerky and hit the road in 102 degree heat. Too bad I couldn't take avantage of the AK sale!
I sent an e-mail to be put on a list to know when some more TAC M4 piston rifles are coming in. I can't wait!
