Just got mine in the mail last week, the all black version and am impatiently waiting to go and try it out.
I was on the fence about this gun for awhile now, but for 750$ and 5 mags!! It’s a fantastic deal and great customer service.
On a side note damn certification papers take forever to arrive. I don’t know why they can’t be faxed or emailed.

well I was supposed to get mine tomorrow but I was sent a wrong gun, and they won't start the transfer on the correct model till they get the gun back :/ Wating sucks!

I was sent a black model instead of stainless, so I guess not a huge mix up so I dont really want anyone to get introuble but I would really appreciate if you guys not wait and start the transfer on my gun now instead of waiting till you get the wrong gun back. I'm not going to steal it promise

With the 106mm barrel, how badly does it stick out?
(I know i am a sucker for aesthetics too :-)

the barrel sticking out kind of bothers me haha.

I am on the fence about getting one.

I have a P226 and love it. I know FNP-9s are "sig-like" but am concerned with the reversal of the positions of the slide lock and decocker in the FNP vs SIG. is it really a big issue? As in if you are used to the SIG controls, do you find the FNP controls an issue since they are reversed?

I have a P226 and finally got my FNP9 yesterday. Controls don't bother me, in fact I'm sure with FN I wont ride the slide release like I do with the Sig (which prevents the slide from locking on last shot). Barrel doesn't stick out that much and the gun is smaller than I expected actually.

I ordered mine a day after you, unfortunately, I fall under a PRE-ORDER category. I still have to have wait for a month or so, can't wait to bring mine to the firing range.

Thanks! yeah that's true. i go thumbs forward so i don't have too much problem riding the slide release but i know what you mean!

Mark, are the black matte FNP-9s that are coming in a month - are they with coming with standard combat sights or night sights? FN-USA website says either is an option with the FNP-9.

I use thumbs forward grip as well, but they still have to rest somewhere . Mine has regular sights. Btw the barrel is Fire dragon, I dont think they mention it anywhere on the website.
