Right above the stamp for "Exter NH" there's another stamp that reads "Made in Germany".

A German made Sig will have a German proof mark on both the slide and frame regardless of the exiter markings.

The German made Sigs do not have the front serrations on their slides. I was told that these guns were assembled with the standard grips(as seen in the pictures) but will be shipped with the e2 grips.

It should. Sig quality isn't what it was. If they are German guns using the same internals though...megh.

    I don't believe in cross-specie hunting.
It's 3.2 kilos, not 30lbs and it only creates 7 lbs of overpressure in the immediate area....and you only bled from ONE ear that ONE time...pussy!

    Correct...

The German made ESE's do not have the front slide serrations (different from the US made versions).

The grips are an error on SIG's part... they are supposed to ship with E2 grips but they did not so SIG is sending us the E2 Grip Kits and we will forward them on to anyone purchasing these guns now, (so if you purchase the gun now you'll end up with both grip sets at no additional cost to you ).

Actually, let me clarify... the guns ship from Germany with regular grips and regular sights... SIG USA changes the grips to the E2 Grips and the sight to SIGLite Night Sights. They installed the Night Sights, but they screwed up and shipped us the guns without first switching the grips... so now they are sending us the E2 Grip Kits and we'll do the switch-over at our facility (or send the Grip Kit to any customer who buys the gun in its current configuration).

Really, I haven't seen that but then again I don't spend much time on the web reading about guns.

I do know where sig is getting their small parts made though and it isn't in Germany or the States.

Easy enough to confirm if you look at a twenty year old and a
more recent one...and then there is the parts breakage. My west German sigs have never broken a part.
