There has been some discussion on 2 pictures that are floating around.

South Frontenac's and another vendor that has them coming in. They both have a picture of a gun. Not sure which one is really coming to Canada......

Frontier's pic is of the original 500 that 10 of us ordered here back in Aug. 2011 (in time for the 100th anny) but was told in Dec 2011 the non Yanks are getting the 250 export version as pictured here.

Frontier mentioned they will post pics of actual if not all sold.

We better be getting the fish scale series E.

Is that 20 years of experience or 3 years of experience repeated 6.66 times?

AGREED. I only want it for the sharp fishscale design. I don't care for the US version with just the rear serrations

I had cancelled my order with another vendor cause I just found out my wife is pregant two days ago. That and Im not too fond of the fish scale serrations of the export. Now Im sitting here thinking if I should of cancelled it or not. Oh decisions decisions. I realize it will be a rare 1911 and Im into collecting smiths. How much do you think these guns will be worth in the future? What should I do guys!

Wait until your wife has had the baby, then buy mine for only $5000. I'll throw in a free holster.
Indicating the depth of her research on the issue, she said on Dec. 21st that she had personally looked at pictures of guns in 1993, and again in 2012.

Put your name on the list now, might be some left!
I am not sure how I feel about a smith / colt 100 year ani, either but these are selling for not much more than a regular smith .45 so if things get tight you will always get your money back(if you don't shoot it!

Yippie, just got the email from Marcie orders are being processed. Being a year and 3 weeks since the order for the original went in.

Thanks Ryan for honoring the original price. Can't wait to light her up

Processing mine, they were great , I had a request and they tried their hardest to accomodate, then, because it has been so long I have a different cc #, they contacted me right away and rectified! Great service. Anyone who put down their cc # last year might want to make sure you haven't changed it or got a new card!
