Thanks guys

Mine showed up today. Not half bad...bluing is okay, some scratches on the slide and receiver, but I bought it as a beater, so don't really care. Functionality seems okay...haven't shot it or loaded it, though. Only trouble is that the front sight bead is about 1/8" to the left of center! Guess I will have to install some type of different sight.
AND! for those concerned about pot metal receivers? NOT THE CASE! Mine is machined steel, and is VERY beefy. If I have to drill and tap for a rear ghost ring or a picatinny rail, there is LOTS of meat to hold the screws.
All in all, for $100, it will do nicely!
Thanks again for the deal, Chemist!

Hey...
Me again...Just had a closer look at the gun...the sight bead isn't the only thing that wonky! THE WHOLE BARREL IS INSTALLED CROOKED! Wow! The poor kid that built this gun must have been tired...or blind!
Don't know how I'm gonna fix that...I don't think that even an adjustable rear sight has that much windage adjustment!
So, if any of you guys got a bad gun from an internal parts prespective, drop me a PM, I may have a good parts gun here (...except the barrel!)
Chemist...not bitching at you in ANY way...I read the disclaimer...Thanks again!
Well, you could remove the existing bead and have a new bead hole drilled and tapped i guess. That would allow you to install a bead more in line. Probably pretty cheap.Don't know how I'm gonna fix that...I don't think that even an adjustable rear sight has that much windage adjustment!

It's a 14" shotgun, don't waste your money on it. Point and shoot. I'm sure everyone who ordered these has a "good" shotgun anyways.
The two 780's I bought were shotguns # 7 and 8 that I own. So yea, I own a couple good ones, and just bought these to have a truck gun, and beat the crap out of.![]()
