Red: Yes, I am happy to say bead blaster has told me 2-3 days (this week, all BB will be done), anodizer to receive parts by week's end, then 5-7 days I assume for anodizing, perhaps longer depending on company scheduling. I hope to be inspecting all and shipping all within 2 weeks. This is the best update I can offer as 3 companies are involved in the finishing process.

Johnyrotten: adjustable front sight and muzzle brake is on the table, our next project which is already 75% complete. Range tests to follow. End of Summer ETA?

Sharkson: The 45/70 Marlin with a Burris Fastfire II is a great little rifle, but lacks the versatility of the M14. Nevertheless, I'd be happy to own one! Give me a call any time during your friend's install. I'd be happy to help.

    Frank,

I thought I read elsewhere that the Op. rod guides were going to be delayed but that you were shipping without them so as not to hold the entire run, with Op Rods to follow later. Can you confirm if this is true?

Also, I'm Sharkson's "old" friend that he referenced. Who da heck is he calling old...he has to use his Marlin as a walking stick.

Thanks for shipping the CASM separately - know you're busy. Got it a few days ago .

"Oprod Spring Guides" will follow, this is correct. Please carefully note the difference between the oprod guide and the oprod spring guide. I added the new M14.ca Oprod Spring Guide to complete the "Blackfeather "RS" package late in the manufacturing cycle. It will not affect or delay installation or delivery of the Blackfeather "RS".

Sorry Frank, but this requires a response.

Pr589, before we talk about walking sticks and who is "old", let's see how you do joining us on a long day of moose or deer hunting while carrying your new M14 equipped with a gorgeous Blackfeather stock.

And seriously, it's about time you joined us in the gun owning fraternity. You're only 30 years behind the curve! Better late than never, but certainly one of your smarter moves.

And you can borrow my extra spring guide until you get your new one from Frank.

The only wait now is for the two firms involved in anodizing and steel coating. I should have all product here within 10 days (approximately). I will then inspect each part and assemble each stock. Everything else is in place for shipping. I am looking forward to it.
