STI .22 conversion for 2011 frames

its just an STI branded tac sol kit so it will work on 1911 or 2011 you just need to use different mags

I don't want a 1911 conversion magazine though, only interested in 2011

Like heavenIsAlie posted, it's the same kit - only with double stack mags. We have them now. Same price as the 1911 kit - I'll update the website to show 2011 too. In the meantime, just note that you want 2011 mags in the comment field and we'll make sure you get a 2011.

A follow up question on the heights - which kit with iron sights on is closest to the STI slide and rear sight?

I measure the top of my rear sight blade (40 cal Edge) as 1.3125 inches from the bottom of the slide.

As I read this thread this implies the Marvell version is quite a bit taller but what about the TacSol with iron sights on?

Sorry for the delayed response - still reeling from the nationals.

The newer TS version sits a hair lower than the STI pistol upper, while the older version kit sits higher than the STI pistol upper.

When comparing the height difference between the STI pistol upper and the two kits, the older conversion kit is greater.
