Not really sure if I understand the question. If something cannot be shipped when ordered, we contact the customer immediately.

We never charge you for the product until it is shipped.

I meant: do out of stock items still appear as in stock on the website or they are removed or shown as out of stock? (ie is everything we see ready to ship?)

Most things, with over 500 items so far, it's going to be a challenge - hence the reason we set the thing up to not auto-charge you when you submit your order.
