they have to charge tax. you are not directly paying the shipper.
But, how come some don't charge the tax? When I shipped stuff from our store, shipping was taxed and we could show it as such seperately. Maybe it depends on the Province. We have done it for the last 20 years now and we have been audited and nothing ever said otherwise.
