Does the dealer have to maintain a record of his non restricted sales ?
It would seem from other threads, it is a condition of them having a licence to sell firearms.
BUT:
The Liberals tried to include the provision to continue using the "green book" for sales on non restricteds through an amendment in the senate.
That amendment was defeated.
So, the question the becomes, since C-19 does not specifically say that retailers NEED to continue to use the "green book" do they still have too.
Interesting times indeed.

What am I thinking........? If I wanted you to know, I'd be talking!
So...can we use our regi's for targets now?
If businesses that sell guns are confused on what to do, I sure as hell have no idea.
Just today i've seen posts saying everything from:
"Just bought my first post registry rifle. Only had to show my pal, paid and walked out with my gun."
to
Just bough a new shotgun and the store recorded all my info in the book
to
Just TRIED to buy a new rifel in BC and they are still trying to complete transfers thtough the registry, so I have to go back next week to pick it up.
