Have you guys brought any in?

    Thanks,

Interested in this as well. I'm concerned that they may not export it due to it being 5.56 instead of .223 - not sure if that's a problem but I recall hearing that somewhere. Hopefully we can get it with the collapsible stock and pinned 30-round mags. Love that medium-contour barrel, looks like it would be a good gun for plinking and competition.

From what I understand about the situation down south is these things are flying off the shelves and almost impossible to keep in stock. No one seems to care about the dust cover or forward assist missing, and everyone seems to be happy with the reliability, accuracy, and build quality for the money. I'd rather have the S&W than the Norinco, myself.

I'm interested in the Canadian estimated price? Guys in the States i've read have bought them for under $600, what do you think they'll go for here?

I was looking into buying a S&W AR last year. I talked to the guys at Lanz shooting and they told me that he could only bring in one model ( can't remember which it is I'll check with him ) but I know he was selling them @ $1299. A buddy of mine bought one for his wife. It shoots awesome but only comes with a 16" barrel I think.

Hmm, $1299 isn't the right price range. The M&P Sport lists for $739.

If it were under $1000 in Canada i'd expect it to sell well. For a new AR I'd say only Norc and NEA are that cheap and the Smith seems to be getting better reviews.

Shouldn't be a problem since a 95% majority of AR's are labeled as 5.56... You know, since they are AR's, and are following the NATO cartridge made for it.
    Thats my guess anyway.

I'm quite interested in a flat top one, especially if it comes with the US price tag!

I'd prefer to have no forward assist and no ust cover to be honest.
There is nothing "liberal" about the Liberal party of Canada.
