CGN Dealer giving me the run around.

In January I called a dealer here and asked to buy a shotgun. He said they would be coming in in 4 days an that he won't charge my CC, until he got them.

I waited 2 weeks and still no word from him, checked my CC statement and he charged for the gun the same day.

I called him back again and he promised me it would be in for sure last week of February.

I called last week on Feb and he told me middle of march, I call middle of march and he told me middle of April.

IT IS ####ING MAY and now he is dodging my phone calls and pm's. I don't even want the gun anymore, I want my money back. Worst part is, I see him posting on this site many times after I pmed him.

How do you think I should handle this?

You should name the dealer so fellow gunnutz can avoid the headache. I would also consider calling your credit card company to see if you can dispute the charge. If all else fails consider reporting it to the police as fraud.

It's easy tell the dealer you do not want the product anymore and demand the refund be posted to your CC. If no response contact your CC company and state that the product was not received. You should also expose this dealer to the masses

    Out the dealer already!

I would like to know who is running their business like this!
    .
You may not like or own guns. That is your right. You may not believe in God. That is your choice. However, if someone breaks into your home, the first 2 things you are gonna do are 1) Call someone with a gun, and 2) Pray that they arrive quickly.

Let's do a good old fashioned burning at the stake! We'll use our non-res certs as kindling, and those terrible norinco m14 wood stocks as the main fuel! I'll donate a bottle or three for the party, someone has to drive me home though.

Yeah, get your money back, or shame them in public. Poopy business practices if they already took your money.
Buy a lot of stuff, you're a good citizen! But if you don't buy a lot of stuff, if you don't, what are you then, I ask you? What? Mentally ill. Fact, Jim, fact -- if you don't buy things -- toilet paper, new cars, computerized yo-yos, electrically-operated sexual devices, stereo systems with brain-implanted headphones, screwdrivers with miniature built-in radar devices, voice-activated computers...

this same thing happened to me, so I called my visa and told them that I was charged for a item that I never received. Visa refunded my money within 48 hours. Call your credit card and tell them you have been ripped off.
