I have had the TI alluminum and TI composite for years now. I actually recommend the composite. Why? price is a bit better and performance is better than than the bulkier alluminum. either one are very good, maybe people get alluminum for tacticool look im thinking.

Hi, looking at using these mags for the first time. How do the composite mags perform better? Thanx.

Why would this magazine be prohibited in Canada? It's only a 25 round magazine. And why would it need to be pinned at 10 rounds? It's a rim fire magazine. I'm confused.
Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars

It is marked by Ruger for use in the Ruger Charger .22 Pistol, meaning it is a pistol magazine. Meaning it must be pinned to 10 rounds (since it is a pistol magazine) or it is a prohibited device.

Because it's advertised as fitting the Ruger Charger pistol.
So as far as the RCMP is concerned, it's a pistol magazine, and must be pinned to 10rds to be legal here.

Has anyone actually seen a pinned BX-25 in Canada?

    Sign of a good dealer

I haven't seen any pinned magazines. Likely people don't think they're worth exporting/importing with the regular ruger magazines being 10rds.
