    220 swift

    Hi I am new here but I need some help on the 220 swift heavy barrel. any thoughts or concerns and buying one seems impossible, any ideas there as well?

    I would imagine that one of the sponsors here could order one for you. At 4000 fps it will be hell on the barrel, don't know how long it would last.

    It depends on what type of gun it is for.
    The usual way is to find a local gunsmith that comes recommended, they will order a barrel of the correct caliber and fit and chamber it to your rifle.
    Barrels start at about $150 and a basic fit and chambering will run you about $150+.

    You may be new, but you have great taste.

    Ever since I was a kid, I wanted a 220 swift.

    The claims of reduced barrel life are are largly exagerated.

    My dream gun (one of them) is a Ruger #1 Varminter in 220 swift.

    Buy one, ignore the negative comments.
    There is nothing "liberal" about the Liberal party of Canada.
