After a long wait, maybe 15 emails and alot of frustration I got my 15" Grizzly-Mag today. The packaging was really beat up and ripped. When I unwrapped everything the brass bead on the extra 12.5" barrel I ordered was broken off. The shotgun itself seems to cycle shells smoothly. At least I'm happy it's here. I do live outside Milton Ontario so it had a ways to go.

I was offered an exchange which means a long time shipping it back and waiting for the shipment of a new one. They also offered to send me a new brass sight. I have never installed one but the one I now have is broken off flush with the barrel. It is not brass all through it. It looks like brass covered plastic or someting white. I don't know if it involves drilling and tapping or if it is even threaded. Anyone have knowledge about that? Is it just glued or what. Can I just punch it through

owch that sucks, I'm a half hour east of london ontario hope mine is not to beat up....Well good to hear the griz mags are in the mail!!

Got mine today and I must say it is much tighter put together than my previous Grizz. Gave it a wipe down and tried running some shells through it...LOTS of FTE and FTF's. I was thinking WTF? Anyhow, took it apart and lubed the crap out of it and racked the action a couple hundred time...she works much better now on the 2 3/4 shells. The big bad boy 3" shells seem to be more problematic...it's almost like they barely fit...and the last one from the tube mag will jam halfway on the lifter. Now this is all without firing it (but my previous Grizz, KSG, and 590A1 don't do this...I know, apples to oranges). If I keep a 2 3/4" in the last position it'll feed fine but there's a 50/50 chance of the 3" shell jamming on ejection. I'm wondering if the mag tube spring is weak? (just spit ballin' here). I won't be able to compare it to my previous Grizz until my son gets back next week from training. Thoughts/suggestions? Or maybe just forget it about it and see how it actually runs when I'm at the range...

Same here with 3'' shells, FTF steadily like you said, half way up the feed ramp and they get so jammed u have to push the shell back into the tube mag from the ejection port and try again. 2 3/4 top gun shells seemed ok, will try some more brands of 2 3/4 and 3 this weekend and see if anything works better.
