OH man I hope it does have the rail... I did not see it in the pic until Dweano mentioned it.

This is why I invested in a Mesa Tactical High Tube stock comes with a decent length rail on top of it.

Hoping itll fit without any modifications, its for the 870 afterall.

I hope you dont run into the same problem, but the front of that rail wont work on mine because there is only 2 mounting screw holes on the top of my receiver and there both to far back for the front of that rail to mount to.
870 and grizzly mag must not be exactly the same. oh well, now i no to look at the details befor i buy 870 parts.

Hmm on the high tube stock from mesa, the rail attaches to the stock itself at the back and rests on the receiver using a "receiver saddle", so there are no screws that go into the actual receiver of the gun.

There's a notch on on the top of the saddle piece which pops into a hole on the rail that it comes with.

the rail is then secured with two screws at the rear on the stock adapter itself. so no screws are on attached to the receiver itself.

I'm probably going to leave the rail off until I pick up a red dot sight or something for it

i have the Mesa Leo stock adapter and i like it, but i like that set up to. i cant decide wich i like better?
