Can't believe I missed this thread. Has there been any extensive range testing done with the adapter as yet?

Is there any reason it is noted not to use these for bear defense?

Just a joke. Every time we post about a new product the discussion goes sideways with internet geniuses offering new reasons why the product is unsuitable for something (bear defense, toxic fumes, local bylaws, etc). If you feel that 10rds of 223 ammo is either appropriate or not appropriate for bear defense, please do not post your opinion in this thread.

I missed it as well. Are these still available ? What are spare mags worth ? Do I still have to send a lower in to you ? How durable is the conversion ?

    Yes.
$29 but they are easy to adapt and you can do it yourself.
We recommend you send your lower to us, but you do not have to.

We ran a unit on the range for three months. Range guns get treated poorly, and there were no problems. We have not done destructive testing, cold weather trials, or sent them off to the middle east for trials.
