Model 29 with 4.2 Inch barrel

dont rub it in, I havent been getting any days off and we keep getting shots of rain. It stormed prety good tonight but as long as it stays dry out, im not working tommorow so im getting out there. Im not making its first day out a wet one lol.

This gun had us scratching our head too. The measurement made it just legal for Canada (restricted) even though it was shown as a 4". I doubt that it was made special for us but I believe sometimes in the finishing and barrel fitting, the dimensions change a little. We saw this with a Smith auto a few years ago that was classified as prohib but when we measured it was just over the min length and the Feds changed the classification for us. When we realized that this model 29 was just over the legal length Dianne bought the only other one we could find. You guys are lucky this hit the shelf as I had it in my hands and since I don't own a model 29 I almost took it. I chose not to because I have 12(6) status and felt someone should own this who can't get a prohib. Good shooting. Phil.

ipsc qualifiers has the range booked this weekend so no shooting for me. And haha49 I dont realy get what your insinuating but the revolver I bought has a legal length barrel.

Well i finaly got her out and it is perfect, kicks like a mule but damn smooth and defnetly more accurate than me. I was getting about 10" groups at apot 15-20 yards. It was just way too sunny to get any good pics but i will try in not to distant future. Im happy she worked out good because my brand new ruger 1911 packed it in after only 11 rounds.
