Mine shoots really well. It just shoots to high. I guess I have to file the front sight.

Unless some knows how to adjust an M1 with fixed sights for elevation.

To lower it, you add length to the front sight, not file it.

Mine sounds exactly like what you describe, loose, i took it out of the stock and noticed the trigger group is also wobble attached to the receiver, still a nice rig but pretty expensive really

mine just showed up, can anyone else that got one please comment on the reciever to stock fit, are they supposed to be sloppy and wiggle? also they do not come with the oiler in the stock so how the hell do you attach a sling to this thing now, would have been nice to now these details from NS before i got one. this thing just might be headed back to the store, for the cost of these not very impressed at all!

Alas my Universal .30 M1C was $75 when I bought it back in 1975. Too bad its bbl was 1/2 inch too short to maintain unrestricted status.

Running into numerous failure to feeds with mine. I used 600 paper to smooth the feed ramp. Hopefully this will allow for better performance the next time I go to the range.
