Optics??

Hey I am looking to purchase a scope that is good from 50M-200M range and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?? I am looking for the best bang for the buck! It is tough to make a decision and just need some input from experience. Also want it for an AR-15.

Don't have much experience with the AR15 platform, but your best bet is to check the EE for used scopes as you'll be able to find some great deals.

In terms of anything specific for your needs, a Leupold or Redfield (both reputable companies, Redfield is made in the US) 3.5-10x40 (adjustable magnification) would be more than enough for those distances. It'll allow you to see anything at 50m well with it adjusted closer to the 3.5 setting, and will magnify anything further away very well with settings closer to the 10.

If you check the EE regularly you'll find some for around $200.
