I was looking at the site and i see the CZ-527 carbine is out of stock. Is there any chance they are on order, or else a norinco or other manufacturer in 7.62x39? I was thinking of a bolt gun to share all the ammo i have for my sks.

Hi, I would try Ellwood Epps, i recently bought one from them.Give it a try.
Norinco made a JW rifle in 7.62x39 that received many mixed reviews. They are hard to find in that calibre though, and the .223 is more common to see on the EE.
Baikal also makes a single shot break action, but I am not sure of the name.
Problem is like you many have the same idea, and the CZ option is pretty damn pricey for a gun that's gonna see only corrosive surplus.
What make/model did you find garyvirk? I couldn't find anything in 7.62
If not the CZ's, is there any chance you would be able to get the Zastava m85's in 7.62x39?
I am sure we could get zastavas if there was demand. Not sure if they have a current importer or not. I found them somewhat crude.
I am not currently accepting PM's. Please use email or SKYPEat left.

Have a No4Mk1 converted to 7.62x39.
It was a chopped bubba when I got it, so no originals were harmed by my having it converted
