    I don't mean tp be a sh1t disturber here, (actually, I think I do...) but wouldn't modifying a mag be classified as manufacturing one without a licence? Kind of a no no, isn't it?

    When an existing pistol mag can be used, the rifle is modified. Nobody said anything about modifying a magazine.

    For these carbines, I wouldn't modify a $2000 rifle. Thought maybe a pistol mag was available for them. It isn't it seems.
