My opinion on Purchasing from EPPS

DO IT !! I was in the market for a new X-bolt carbon fibre stainless. Looked around on the internet and found that not only did Epps have what I wanted in stock, they also had by far the best price tag on it.

Sent an email after 8pm to confirm that they still had it, got a response first thing the next morning, faxed in my order form later that day. Called a couple hours later to ask a couple specific questions and to add some rings and a sling, and the order was sent out first thing the next morning. Got a phone call from them confirming that my order was shipped out and provided the tracking number.

Had the firearm and accessories in my hands 3 business days from the day that I placed the order. Everything I ordered was there and it was packed nice and secure. When I called about adding to my order and questions regarding rings etc,, they were more than friendly and very helpful.

It was my first time dealing with Epps and they have now found a longtime customer in me.
Keep up the great work guys, I am very happy with every aspect of my purchase from start to finish. Thanks

I'm looking forward to going to their store. I'm driving up to Algonquin next week for a camping trip and I will be making a special detour to go see their shop! Glad to hear they really care for their customers.

    Would do it again!

Always a good experience, and have even taken back abad used gun I bought from them no questions asked.

Ordering, shipping and receiving is good. Just hope you don't have to exchange or replace something. It could take 6 + months of not more.

That is because of US export permits, not anything wrong Epps did.

Epps are great folks. I buy from them a lot. New and used. They just need a shop in london or windsor now

They seem to be hit or miss.

I have had great visits to their store and phone calls with the staff. Getting lots of advice and good deals on items.

But I have also left the store in total disgust at the lousy service being offered.

There are some staff that are great to deal with but some of the others I won't waste my time with anymore.

I guess this can be said for most stores. Unfortunately most of my recent dealings with them have left me wondering why I drive 2.5 hours each way.

Service there is hit or miss. If you are not recognized by staff, you are not a priority. Best service is when the gun room is empty, but where else do you see such a selection.

Products are good, pricing is reasonable, but getting a sales persons attention is difficult.
Multiple times the sales people have been more interested in chewing the fat with a regular or local who is not spending anything rather than deal with a non regular, who likely has made a trip specific visit to make a purchase.
