texture and matte finish

I have one of your kits in coyote brown and was reading that for a more matt finish to mix at 10:1 - is there anything else I could do to make it it more matt? Also, any suggestions on how could I add a bit of texture to the surface of a rifle stock before/during painting? thx,

1.In order to make the arma-coat more matte you can reduce the amount of hardener.

2.If you have an airbush or spraygun you can increase your air pressure and decrease your volume control to spray a very fine finish giving it a matte appearance.
