I got mine on Monday but I hadn't opened it yet. I'm excited![]()
Made in 95! wow, that's pretty recent.
The bullets are lead core but is the jacket steel? Would this ammo be acceptable to shoot at steel targets?
The previous Norc silver box non corrosive had a mild steel slug surrounded by lead for a core, I still have the sectioned bullet somewhere. Can someone section one from this new batch to see if it's the same or not. From what I see in the OP's pics the boxes look the same.
I think you guys are thinking about the steel core bullet that they made. This doesn't appear to be the same.

as it says, lead core.

I have been looking to get an SKS and have been researching the ammo I can use at my local range. They say no steel core. This clearly states lead core on the box, does that mean its range friendly?
I am very new to firearms so any info is appreciated.
Good price, non-corrosive, shoots great. Buy it.
