I've sold tons of those little red dots and as far as I know none have broken. Just because I don't mark them up alot doesn't mean they are junk.

Go for it....I've had one of the no-name aimpoint looking things for years on my AR15 and it holds zero, battery is still working, hasn't broke yet.
Bushnell and Tasco just slap their names on the same things and charge 3 or 4 times the price.

The biggest plus for the "no-name" dot is that I can get risers for use with AR sights and the price is fantastic for my tactical 10-22...
