I'm really torn between the 226 or 229 scorpion. I like the slightly smaller size of the 229 and would be getting the threaded barrel version but the P226 is a bit cheaper. Has anyone held either gun it's hard to decide when you can't see how they fit/feel in your hand.

I'd go for the P226 for parts availability. IMO the 229 isn't that much smaller.

Thanks for the heads up, that makes sense I've held/shot the P226 and not the P229 so I am more comfortable buying the 226 and your point on parts makes good sense.
