That magwell adapter is really something! Do you still use the Swiss Arms release to drop the magazine?

How hard is it to modify stanag mags to fit that? Do-at-home-able?

Yes they use the original mag release. To use it you are required to cut a small slot across the spine of the mag. You get one mag included so you can use it as a template, and the instruction are now included with the adaptor detailing how it is done.

Is there anything 'permanent' done to the lower for the magwell adapter to work? Any holes drilled? If not, does it leave big scratches or anything when it's removed?

This looks like a much better alternative to buying a new lower! However - $225 seems a 'little' pricey for a piece of sheet metal.

There are no permanent alterations. There may be some minor scuffing of the finish on the front of the trigger housing (lower reciever) but it is out of sight.

It is not made of sheet metal it is machined out of aluminum block. If you order 100 we can cut you a break.

Just bought a second hand one of these. Any chance you could post the instructions for making more mags? Tried one... Didnt work. I'm sure there is a trick to it that I'm missing!

Are you guys looking at mod kits for the trigger??? at least something to shorten the pull???
the weight would be fine if the pull wasn't so far!
