Do you reload or do you know someone who does?

I don't reload... expecting my first Tokarev pistol shortly. I've heard that the factory ammo is hotter, therefore want to try both.

I am certain the surplus is hotter, atleast Czech that is. It was supposed to be used in SMG's. I have fired both 1950's S&B surplus and new manufacture S&B factory rounds out of my TT33. The surplus was much hotter. The factory was more accurate though.

Which lots did you test ?? The velocity variances were ??
We ran tests on Polish, Hungarian, Czech, Yugoslav, Russian, just to name a few, they were all very close to one another.
ALL were loaded to the standard of the day in the East Block.... The was NO such thing as SMG only ammo, simply not practical for logistic reasons....
