Given this is very similar to the 1911e series 100th anny hopefully the anny will be just as nice as you described with the "best" trigger.

ps. Dan is a nice fellow, shoot with him at POCO, he liked my 500.

I would place this gun on par with the Dan Wesson. Fit/finish is totally clean and every line is crisp. The night sights are f**king beautiful and the first fix sights I have owned that actually hit point of aim.

Groupings are stunning and the gun is more accurate then I am. Trigger is probably the best out of the box I have ever fired.

The only cons..kicks like a mule, using 230 gr FMJ Wolf! Seriously.I think the return spring might be a little stiff as you really need to give some effort to function the slide release. Also if your thumb rides the safety abit (even a 1/16") its activated.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

A note about Dan, any supplier that actually remembers that you want a special gun, 6 months after asking......that's priceless. I have had girlfriends that wouldn't remember what I told them 6 minutes later. I ll be buying more from him in the future.

Is that 20 years of experience or 3 years of experience repeated 6.66 times?

If you look at the banners, the one that is in the 4th row, second from the left sells new Coonans.

Nope, made in Canada in 2007. Rock solid performer, hence not selling it and getting a US model.

Not mine, must be someone else. Use ones use to sell for $1000 to $1500. New ones start at $1500, if you can wait for it to arrive. I have had this one for 5 years. Actually, I had 4 at one time!

Shoots fireballs out to about 4 feet. 2 mags and I had a enough for 1 night. I like it because it is smaller then the Desert Eagle I had. Shots pretty good, but will only feed FMJ reliably.

Very nice Smith & Wesson! I've been looking into these as well as they seem to be of excellent quality at a fair price.

Sorry about the lateness, was in and out of the office running around yesterday. Here we go!

This came in as part of a 1911 collection from a friend of the store who collects unique and high-end 1911s. Comes with 3 mags and 200 rounds of factory Super-X ammunition. Trigger pull is about 4lbs with a really nice break, which makes sense since they're silhouette target guns.

I put it up on our site to make it easy to grab the specs for anyone wondering.

    Cheers,
    Dan
