Here's my update...today it's approved (ON --> BC). Total of 9 business days. This was a private deal...not my first restricted by far...a new record for slowness for me. Thanks BC CFO

Have you called them. I am also on the Island, In Victoria and it took 1.5 months to get the paperwork done. My 9mm is finally on the way and should be here by weeks end. I applied on 30 July.

Spoke to BC CFO today (Alberta CFO taking calls for BC CFO so BC CFO can catch up). They are processing Sept. 4th transfers as of today (Sept 17th). So BC is about 9 business days behind.

Oddly enough, here in ON I had one go through after 4 business days which is, by far, the fastest I've ever experienced.

We have been very fortunate in BC until this year, transfers times in BC were always 1-3 business days, lately we have seen transfer times up to 3-4 weeks in BC, especially during the month of July and Aug. According to one of the BC CFOs, there is a big rush of restricted firearm purchases this year. Not sure how much truth in that statement.

Heard today on the CBC radio Provinces can have their own long gun registries. They can start from scratch.Don't trust the Government and their flunkies.

The quarterly statistics published by the RCMP do not show a significant increase in the number of restricted firearms in BC.

Talked to the CFO today. She told me since my e-mail is on file they will send me the ATT via email to shave off a few days. But im waiting on my range to mail me proof of membership.. After waiting 7 months for my RPAL to get aproved whats a couple weeks extra.
