New NEA 12.5" AR15 -Pics added 15th Sep

I just had some NEA 12.5" AR's show up today.....reviews to follow They are the latest generation with new LPK, mil spec buffer tubes, QD points, spling plate etc. I'm going to take one to the range in the next few days.

I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow as I just got back in.

Looking forward to read your review! Take some pictures if you could. I'm saving up for one.

Does that mean there are some on the rack?

What are the quality of the new ones like? I've never seen or held one in person. I'm looking for a new AR and I'm considering all my options.

I just stopped in to see Ryan after going to the range. I gotta admit, I wasn't initially a fan of NEA. However, after seeing and feeling this latest version, I am quite impressed. Quality has definetly improved, and it was a very nicely balanced rifle. Trigger didn't seem super duper creepy or gritty, and the handguard was really nice...actually, it is one of the nicest I have held in quite a while. Mil spec buffer tube was nice, and the barrel was really nicely finished. Overall, I was quite taken with this thing...if your in the area, it's worth a trip to see Ryan!
What did the Glock say after it fell off a truck, bounced on the highway, skidded across asphalt, got hit by a car, and run over by an 18 wheeler?

Those are pictures right out of the box, I just put in a mag and put a Lucid HD7 on it.

A few things you'll notice, milspec stock with QD points, ambi sling plate and a smaller clamping cut on the quad rail. The thing you can't see is the new lower parts kit. The trigger is a lot lighter compared with the really heavy ones out in the spring of this year. I haven't had a chance to shoot one of them but I'm planning on it this week.
