    Any chance of more backpacker shotguns?

    As the title states, I would love to get my paws on a cheap single shot 3" capable 12g shotgun! Please!!!

    yes, new batch in the spring. According to the plant it will be their last.

    It's how they work, make people want something, then stop making it.
    That or they actually made them years ago and just sold from the pile untill they were all gone

    They stop for the same reason as anyone does, no money in it. Labour costs are rising, but customers will not pay more, so they switch to higher value products.

    I bought a Chinese motorcycle once..
    something broke every time I went out on it, and then trying to replace the parts was almost impossible.
    It was a $1500 lesson learned (more like $2500 with repairs).. *Don't buy a dirtbike from Canadian tire.*

    Canam, I'm interested, do you have any other info/details

    Edit: quick google and I found this (jw 87). Hopefully they have a shorter barrel

    The backpacker was a very short shotgun. Can't remember the actual over all length but it was damn near the minimum!
