So, how does the wishlist work on your site? Add this item and you get notified when it's in stock or no??

Have you seen a 1945 SVT-40 anywhere? That's the last one I need for my SVT collection and I'll pay a premium for one

Yup. An e-mail jets to your inbox as soon as it comes back into stock. Works mighty fine, only one glitch... E-mail comes in, cash goes out, wife gets mad

If they bothered to regulate the sights it could qualify has higher value.....pretty simple upgrade to add a pedestal base up front under the bead.
Another higher value move would be to lighten the gun some and include some sub caliber adapters and adjustable sights and market to the survival crowd.....
Is it hard to give the Chinese ideas on how to improve their products? What are they afraid of? I'd pay an extra $25 bucks for functional sights and I bet it wouldn't cost them nearly that much to put on a higher front sight?

Ha, I take it you've never dealt with the Chinese factories before. When I was doing it, I hired a local consultant. In the end it was still very difficult.

They want to mass produce cheap crap and mark it up a bit, it's as cultural to them as it is to own their own property instead of renting.

    Haha look at me stereotype

They have no issue improving the products at our request, although it takes ages to trickle down. In this case they no longer want to make the cheap SS shotguns or bolt 22s

So, what about their technical drawings?

If they are willing to part with them for a reasonable price, there are plenty of machine shops that could use the work. It'd certainly be easier to purchase (and potentially slightly modify) the design than to create a new one from scratch. Be it in Canada, other factories in China, the Philippines or any other country.
Do you take what you can get or do you get what you can take?

The other thread we were seeing if it was possible to get the Zastava lk m85's if the norinco jw-103's were no longer available.

I'm not sure if they would ship them, but you could call and ask.
Really great staff, I bet you could work something out.

Any idea how much they are asking?
